Shoe Bench & Floating Shelf
These paired pieces are meant for an entryway. The curved edge supports foot traffic flow. The circular hole in the back was to give space for a wall outlet.
Made only with scrap from other projects, because nothing is waist.
Materials: walnut, cherry, and black melamine.
Kotatsu Gaming Table
The kotatsu table is popular in Japan as a low table with a blanket cover and space heater underneath. Meant for ground sitting, it gives contained warmth and comfort. I've combined it with a 6'x4' gaming table complete with storage and writing space for players.
I love nerd stuff, so I made this for my weekly game night with friends.
